Hamavdil is a Hebrew song by American singer Avraham Fried, released in 1984 as part of his album Melave Malka. The song is composed by Ben Zion Shenker with lyrics adapted from the Zemirot for Motzei Shabbat, and is commonly sung during the Melave Malka meal. The songs are performed in the Oompah and ballad genres, respectively, and features the Zimriah Orchestra arranged by Moshe Laufer. The song was produced by Sheya Mendlowitz.

הַמַּבְדִיל בֵּין קֹדֶשׁ לְחוֹל. חַטֹּאתֵינוּ הוּא יִמְחוֹל. זַרְעֵנוּ וְכַסְפֵּנוּ יַרְבֶּה כַּחוֹל. וְכַכּוֹכָבִים בַּלָּיְלָה:

יוֹם פָּנָה כְּצֵל תּוֹמֶר. אֶקְרָא לָאֵל עָלַי גּוֹמֵר. אָמַר שׁוֹמֵר. אָתָא בֹקֶר וְגַם לָיְלָה:

צִדְקָתְךָ כְּהַר תָּבוֹר. עַל חֲטָאַי עַבוֹר תַּעֲבוֹר. כְּיוֹם אֶתְמוֹל כִּי יַעֲבוֹר. וְאַשְׁמוּרָה בַלָּיְלָה:
